Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you sign in via a third-party provider, we receive your name and email from that provider.

Uploaded Content

When you upload study materials (text, PDFs, URLs, audio, video, images), we store and process this content to generate flashcards and quizzes. Your uploaded content is associated with your account.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage analytics through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information. We also track in-app study progress (cards studied, quiz scores, streaks) to provide the Service.

• To process your uploaded content through AI and generate study materials
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password resets)
• To track your study progress and provide personalized learning insights

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

• OpenAI — processes your uploaded content to generate flashcards and quizzes. Content sent to OpenAI is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — hosts our website and stores uploaded files via Cloudflare R2. Provides cookieless web analytics.
• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions across iOS and Android.
• Resend — sends transactional emails (verification, password resets).

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices. Account data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Uploaded files are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time through the app settings, which will permanently remove your account data, uploaded content, and study progress. Deletion is processed within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.

7. Cookies

Our website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is entirely cookieless and does not collect personal data. The Service does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data (data portability)
• Withdraw consent for data processing
